In February 2022, CHINALAND SHIPPING won the bidding of project "Second batch of bus transportation to Syria aided by China’s Ministry of Commerce", 100 buses will be transported to Tartous, Syria.
Considering there is no direct shipping lines, CHINALAND SHIPPING has designed the whole-process logistics solution which is to transport the cargoes from Xiamen to Tripoli, Lebanon by sea first then transit to Tartus by land.
On February 27, buses aided by China set sail from Xiamen port on the ship "New Venture" and arrived in Tripoli after 26 days. Since then, the project’s transportation team had overcome various difficulties such as Lebanon strike and low efficiency of local customs. All the goods were successfully delivered on June 22, marking the successful completion of the project transportation.
CHINALAND SHIPPING team paid close attention to the stowage as well as the cargo condition on the way. The cargoes were delivered without any damage and the consignee was very satisfied with the condition of the cargoes. Through this project, CHINALAND SHIPPING opened up the land transport channel from Lebanon to Syria, and expanded the whole-process logistics solution from China to Syria.
